BAMCO Supports Tomato Workers

There has been much controversy about the tomato industry in Florida. Bon Appetit Management Company, which operates TASTE Restaurant at SAM, is trying to help take on the abusive tomato growers and protect the workers. The story was reported by The Washington Post and in The Ethicurean.

Kilt-tastic!

TASTE raised more than $2100 for Northwest Harvest on The Glenlivet’s National “Wear a Kilt to Work Day” on April 2. Twenty-one members of the TASTE team volunteered to wear a kilt and The Glenlivet donated $100 on behalf of each person to Northwest Harvest. Also, $1 of each Glenlivet drink went toward the cause.
