What’s in the CSA Box?

Anna’s CSA Tips & Recipes

Catering Sales Manager, Anna Bazzi, was on vacation last week however she’s back now with plenty of tips for this week’s bounty:

If I can’t make it into a salad right away, I will take my arugula & mix up a lemony & garlicky pesto instead.  I just throw it into the Cuisinart with pine nuts (or walnuts), cloves of garlic from the csa, a squirt of fresh lemon juice, olive oil & salt & pepper.  It is great tossed with hot pasta or mixed with mayo for a pasta salad.  I also spread it on sammies or even dollop it on fresh grilled fish or scallops for a take on Italian style salsa verde.
