What TASTE is Serving Up at the OSP Farmers Market, July 22nd

We’re already getting excited for the OSP Farmer’s Market tomorrow, Thursday July 22nd- Here’s  a little preview of what the TASTE booth will be serving up:

Roasted and herbed chicken salad featuring Skagit River Ranch organic chickens –  Lemon scented blue rose chevre, tarragon aioli and Shaved carrot salad with mustard chive vinaigrette featuring Stoney Plains vegetables, for $7.

Enjoy Pastry Chef Lucy’s Skagit River Ranch bacon brown sugar doughnuts, 3 doughnuts for $5

Don’t forget to check out the TASTE Liquid Lounge in the Pavilion. Enjoy wine and beer by the glass, a local ingredient inspired specialty cocktail, $7 each, along with a special wine tasting area featuring TASTE’s Masterpiece Red and White wine, $ 5 wine tasting fee.

This week’s featured cocktail was created by TASTE Bartender Tiffany Friday: The Strawberry Basil Margarita

Strawberry Basil Margarita

 1 ¾ oz silver tequila

1 oz cointreau or triple sec

2 strawberries

1 oz lime juice

2 large leaves basil

Muddle strawberries and basil and lime juice in a cocktail shaker.  Add remaining ingredients and ice. Shake and strain over an ice  filled “bucket” glass.
