What an Evening to Remember…

Was it a dream or did we have Mario Batali in our kitchen last Friday?  We cannot believe it has been a little over a week! We were thrilled to blend our culinary skills with the skills of luminous chef Mario Batali! It was an honor, not only to support the Seattle Art Museum, but also be a part of a remarkable evening with special guests.


The evening provided the opportunity for donors to dine on food inspired by Batali with Batali. The evening also included KOMO 4 news anchor Steve Pool, and Thierry Rautureau aka The Chef in the Hat, owner of Seattle’s Rover and Luc Restaurants.  Dinner guests had the opportunity to engage the three figures who sat on a panel; touching on varied topics ranging from the Seattle food scene and how it differs from that of the Big Apple (no pun intended), to Twitter, and immigration policy.

TASTE’s Executive Catering Chef Paul Rosquita and Executive Chef Craig Hetherington did an incredible job of designing and preparing the menu items based on true Batali’s style cooking while staying true to the region Batali was raised, The Great Northwest.
